Is massage covered by my insurance company? will you be providing a receipt?
Yes, and yes. I am a registered massage therapist, registered with the college of massage therapist of Ontario. A receipt will be provided for you at the end of your treatment.
How often should you get a massage?
The frequency of treatment depends on a few criteria .
Is your pain chronic or acute? How bad is the pain and discomfort? How does the pain affects your everyday living/activities?
I usually recommend monthly massages for maintenance and in certain cases, depending how bad the injury/pain/discomfort is, 1-2 times /per week or every other week, until you reach a point where the pain no longer affects your daily living .
What kind of condition can massage help with?
Massage can help manage and deal with many conditions such as : arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic neck and back pain, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, anxiety, depression, etc.

Can I get a massage if I'm pregnant ?
Absolutely, massage is safe during pregnancy , unless contra indicated by your OB. Massage during pregnancy can alleviate hip discomfort , as well as neck, low back and general back pain caused by pregnancy. During the first 2 trimesters, monthly massages are recommended, when getting in to your 3rd trimester you may feel the need to come more frequently as you get bigger, the discomfort might become less tolerable.
